List of currently manufactured medium format
photography rollfilms
Here below is a list of all currently available
medium format rollfilm
still photography materials in the world, list is
reasonably accurate
and
mostly complete as of Jan 2011. It is important to
remember that
not all materials are available all over the world,
and when a company
says that something is discontinued that may be a
local marketing
decision, Fuji Europe steadfastly maintain that any
220 film format is
discontinued, Fuji USA will happily sell you some
however, the USA arm
on the other hand maintains that cheaper B&W
formulations like CN
and SS are no longer being made while Fuji
Philippines wont sell you
anything else and so on and so forth.
Products marked (SO) are Special Order, i.e. the
manufacturer will only
manufacture them in small batches when there are
enough orders and you
may have to hunt down a stockist that is preparing
such an order, all
other products listed are usually available from
stock at the
manufacturer although in some cases there may be
temporary shortages
between manufacturing runs. Note also that we have
found this list
copied on other sites but this list is constantly
being changed so
copying it is not a good idea, things will get
outdated.

Films available in other medium formats
The Film For Classics company in the USA re-spools
Kodak Imagelink HQ
film onto a lot of the smaller and more obscure
medium formats, this
odd choice of a microfilm rather than the
professional black and white
film is probably due to availability of the film in
large format rolls
and the fact that the smaller medium format film
sizes actually benefit
from using a very fine grain film, however to get
continuous tone you
will have to use a special developer. Unlike their
127, 620 and 828
re-spooling jobs these are not usually available
from stock but have to
be ordered specially. Formats available include 103,
116, 122, 124, 126
and 616.
If you have a larger order of such odd formats and
can supply reels the
Fotokemika plant can also supply re-spooled variants
of any of their
EFKE brand films. |
